Wilderness/Area Search Dogs

Area search dogs are trained to search for and locate the scent of a living human and alert their handler to the person’s location.  This dog typically works off-lead, is non-scent-discriminating and covers large areas of terrain. This is beneficial in rural, wooded, or disaster areas.

Scent Specific Trailing Dogs

Scent specific trailing dogs are utilized primarily on-lead to follow the scent of one individual. This can be a valuable resource in an urban environment. The sooner this type of dog is deployed, the higher the success of locating the missing individual. Upon arrival to the scene, the handler will collect scent articles to utilize for deployment.

Human Remains Detection Dogs

Human remains detection dogs are trained to help locate human remains. This dog works in a variety of environments to detect the odor of human decomposition (i.e. water recovery of drowned victims, hidden graves, wilderness searches, scattered remains, building and vehicle searches, forensic searches, disaster searches, post-arson investigations, etc.).

Firearms/Evidence Detection Dogs

Evidence and Firearm detection dogs are utilized to find evidence at a scene.  This can range from an article of clothing dropped by a lost person to a piece of evidence from a robbery suspect.  In addition, we offer a K9 team certified in Firearms Detection.

Disaster Dogs

Disaster dogs are trained to find live or deceased humans in rubble or in a disaster area.  These K9 teams are trained to work in a variety of environments (collapsed structure, fire, tornado, flooding, etc.)
